Sly Stone and Average White band on stage at summerfest

If you happen to be in San Diego July 7th 2007 (same day as the "Live Earth" event), 15 bucks will get you entrance to "Back In The Day" Summerfest headlining Sly and the Family Stone. The Average White Band and The Latin Sensations featuring Jorge Santana with members of Malo, El Chicano, Tierra and Sapo are also scheduled. That'll be 10 am to 8 pm at the Arena Green Park next to the HP Pavilion.

Stone performed in Las Vegas in April singing "Thank You", "I Wanna Take You Higher" and "Dance to the Music". He also cameoded at the Grammys last February.
